Jim Green

Submitted By: Fred Date: Jan 31, 2024, 11:11 AM Views: 177

This is just a short review of Jim green boots. I am going to start off by saying Jim green boots are one of my favorite boot brands. The quality is great and they can be resoled if needed. I have heard some people say they have gotten over 10 years out of a pair. I also heard that some one got well over 3000 miles out of a pair. That is impressive and if you think about it would make it better than the wolverine 1000 miles boots. Although it is possible those boots can go well over 1000 miles and that is just the name.

I have 3 pairs of Jim green the Razorback, the vellie and the barefoot shoes. The barefoot shoes in my opinion are the best and most comfortable. Out of those 3 the Razorback are the least comfortable but that is just me and how my foot is. The width on Jim green for me is perfect. I have however seen reviews that say the width is too wide for them. Everyone's foot is different so I would say if you have a wide foot Jim green will probably be fine for you but if you have a narrow foot I have heard that Jim green has some new models that are a bit more narrow like the baobab that may be better for you if you find the jim greens to be too wide. Let me know if you tried the baobab or any Jim greens and what you thought of the width.

I should let you know what made the Razorbacks uncomfortable as it was not the width. Now this is a minor issue but it is due to the sole it self being convex. I was just watching one of Jim green's  youtube videos and found a good view that shows the convex sole very clearly so will upload a screen shot below. See how it has a curve to it. This bothers my foot. However I did find that using the thick insoles that rockrooster sells it pretty much fixes the issue.

I should mention that I talked to Jim Green about my issue with the sole and they were so kind and wanted to fix it. They are really kind and have great support. Not many companies out there like this one. I mean This is one of the few that actually cares about the customer and is willing to work with you on issues. They also listen to what people are saying and come up with new products based on feed back just like the boots that are on the more narrow side, that I mentioned above. This is a sign they listen. I suggest checking them out. At the link below, not an affiliate link so I do not earn anything from it. I just like the company and hope you do as well. Jim green boots

I almost forgot to mention on some of the boots that they sell they give away one pair for every 10 sold. So making the company even better to deal with. Again they are a great company to do businesses with
