The first video for my youtube channel was a review about these. That was back in 2019 so this will be more of an update to that but also being a full review as that video may have been poorly done. The video is in our gallery under my videos if you want to check that out. Now on with the review. If I remember correctly I found indestructible shoes back in 2017 or maybe it was 2018. Some where in there. I got them from a deal site called Epic deals which I believe is no more. They used to have all kinds of deals on there. Anyway I ordered 2 pairs. One green that was shown in my original video and a blue pair. I no longer have the green pair but still have the blue pair. The reason I no longer have the green pair is I cut them apart after watching several youtube video reviews about indestructible shoes and seeing none of them had a metal foot bed or mid sole and I know when I bought mine from epic deals the site said they had a metal foot bed to help protect your foot. When I cut mine apart sure enough a metal foot bed was there with a thick felt like layer glued to it. I should have kept that so I could show you a picture as I am sure you would like to have seen that. So my apologies on that. I also wanted to compare the indestructible shoes I have with the ones in those videos. So I bought 3 different pairs from different places. 1 from ebay, 1 directly from indestructible shoes, and one from another site that I found selling them but can not recall which site. Besides for some some visual things they were all basically the same and non of them had the metal plate. I even cut one apart just to be sure. So My guess is when these shoes originally came out they were made with a metal plate and later changed to Kevlar, I think. I still have 3 pairs and I alternate using them when I mow the lawn and they are actually holding up pretty well. They are not all that comfortable though. My foot rubs against the steel toe which I do not like. The one with the Metal plate does not flex very well so maybe that is why they switched to Kevlar. So I would say the Kevlar ones are more comfortable. However I would not want to wear them for the whole day. Just mowing the lawn is enough. They have over 50 miles on them and are holding up. I should mention I would not wear these to jobs that require steel toes. I have seen enough reviews for these that say the steel toe is not good enough for jobs that require a steel toe. So keep that in mind if you are looking at buying these. I should also mention the shoe I thought was directly from indestructible was actually from another site that I didn't realize was not the original site for these. I do not think they are any different though. Here are some pictures of both the original 2 I had and of the 3 new ones ( one pic as they are all 3 basically the same). Also these are not pictures of the ones I own but found pictures that matched close to what I had/ have. I can post some of the ones I have later when I have time. I will go ahead and post all 3 that way you can see if there are actually differences on the none steel plated ones.
