Summary: I had this up on my old site but the data was lost. This is about 3 brands of hands free shoes that I currently own and am currently testing. This is also a brief over view of what I think about each one. | ||
I know there are more than these 3 brands of hands free shoes but these are the ones I own and am testing at the moment. Also I hear that the hands free that Nike Makes is using the same tech as Kiziks so do not feel there is a point to testing those. Plus I am not a fan of Nike and please do not get mad at me for that. First brand is Kiziks and my first impression is they are not all that durable. However it seems they listen to feed back and have made some new models that should be more durable. So right now I own one of the older models the Madrid eco knit which I have had for a few years and so far as of writing this they have about 50 miles on them. I also bought one of the more durable models called the Wasatch which looks a like it will last much longer. So far I only have a few miles on them. ![]() ![]() The next one is Zeba which is very similar to kiziks in the way the hands free works but do seem to be more durable. I Also have 2 models with this company so that I could compare 2 kiziks with 2 zeba. The 2 models are Jet Black and the Industrial Black Genuine Leather Steel Toe Work Shoes . ![]() ![]() The last one is just one pair of Skechers hands free. I am only doing one of these unlike 2 of the others as it is not as important to me how long these hold up. plus I could just add one of my skechers that is none hands free to the longevity test as they seem to use the same sole on the hands free as they do on the non hands free. The model I chose was the after burn hands free. I have used the non hands free of after burn so though it would be much like what I have used in the past. ![]() Now some of my ratings on each. Starting with best comfort. I would say kiziks are the most comfortable out of these. The least comfortable being zeba. However over all they are all very comfortable and I did find that you can make zeba more comfortable by just changing out the insole. For the durability, I am still testing this but based on the wear so far this is what it looks like. kiziks being the last durable and zeba being the most durable and clearly skechers being in the middle. Now for Price. Sketchers are the most affordable around 65 to 165 depending on the model, the one I got was 90. The least affordable is Zeba they were around 130 to 200 depending on the model and they rarely have free shipping even if you buy them on amazon. The kizik's are a little bit harder to determine price as you can not sort by price to find the lowest and the highest. The lowest I have seen is 100 and the highest being 130 so I guess these could actually be the most afordable depending on the model. Also I want to say that comfort is subjective as I have seen some reviews that put the zeba as the most comfortable. Everyone foot is a bit different. Also the durability could also differ depending on the surface you walk on and how you walk. However the which one last longer for me should in theory last the longest for you. |

Jan 30, 2024, 09:18 AM When I get each shoe to 50 miles or close to 50 miles I will take pictures of the soles to show how they are wearing. Now I put like 2 mile a day on my feet so that will take a while. |
