I love puzzles both jig saw puzzles and puzzle games

This is more random thought than a review but I will also include some puzzle games so those will be short reviews. As the title says I enjoy puzzles which is true I do. I include jig saw puzzles in that and I think some people would consider puzzle games and jig saw puzzles to be totally different. To me it is still using your mind to solve a puzzle but in a different way. I recently did a 3d jig saw puzzle and it was a lot of fun. 3d jig saw puzzles are very different from 2d puzzles and requires thinking in 3d which I found fun. However I was doing this puzzle with my parents and my mother didn't enjoy the puzzle at all. She is one that really enjoys jig saw puzzles but didn't enjoy that one at all. That is fine, it is ok to enjoy different things.
Here is a youtube video that you may find interesting about jig saw puzzles that I didn't even know. This maybe why I find them enjoyable.


Another kind of puzzle are ones like what Chris Ramsay does on his youtube channel. Oh and I suggest checking his channel out if you like to watch people solve puzzles. He does some pretty impressive puzzles that I think I would probably not want to do or I think I may not actually enjoy them. I have done a few though although maybe not the ones he has done. There is another youtube channel called puzzle guy and he has a short video that is one of these that I have done. Here is the video if you want to see it.

Another type of puzzle is puzzles in games. Like puzzle games. Some puzzle games are simple games that just have finding hidden objects. I have played these but do not find them as enjoyable as other puzzles games like portal. So I kind of consider these 2 different types of puzzle games. I do not like puzzle games that contain puzzles that require timing something just right. Portal has a few of those and those are the only puzzles in that game I do not enjoy as they can be frustrating and take several ties to get the timing right. I mean it feels like a puzzle that I know the answer to but need to do it just right it is frustrating. One of my favorite puzzle games like portal is Entropy center. That one has a few timing puzzles but thankfully not overly frustrating like some that I recall from portal. To bad there are not a whole lot of puzzle games out there as I would love to play more of them. I have tried one called Talos principle. It was fun but did have some gnostic undertones to it. It does have a few timing puzzles in it as well but thankfully nothing overly frustrating at least not that I can recall. I have also played Q.U.B.E and it is fun  as well. I have also played the witness but that seems to lack a story but the puzzles are fun. There is a Christian puzzle game called Adam's venture that does require some knowledge of the bible for some of the puzzles. It is actually a fun game. I played one called Manifold garden which is very interesting but I got my self stuck and not able to get any farther in the game. I may have to find a walk though for it or something. I have played several more but those are the ones I know the most about. Let me know if you have played any of these and what you think about them and thank you for reading.
