This is an update to my hands free shoe review that I posted a while back. On that review I have 5 different shoes. Two shoes from Kiziks, 2 shoes from Zeba and 1 shoe from Skechers. I now have all 5 shoes with 50 miles on them. I am also a little bit surprised by some of the results in the amount of wear. The zeba do not show much if any where, they still look new. One of the kiziks still looks some what new but the other one does show a lot of wear. To my surprise the Skechers shows a lot of wear. The reason this surprises me is I have had lots of Sketchers of the years and they would normally last mew 2 to 3 years at least I thought they did. I just do not remember them wearing out this fast. The upper is also showing wear. The other 4 are not showing any wear on the upper. My original prediction was that one of the kiziks the Eco Nit was going to wear out first as that is the one showing the most wear. However with this new find I think Sketchers are going to wear out first. I will do another update when each shoe is at 250 miles if they are even able to make it that far. So this is going to be a race type thing to see which one fails first and should be fun. Also I may add 2 more hands free shoes into the mix. A few months back ( or maybe the end of last year) I had found another brand that makes hands free shoes called Quikiks, I may have talked about them on the old site before the crash of the old site. This brand had a pre order of two new models. The pre order said they would be out in Feb of 2024. Feb 2024 came and went and they changed the pre order to the spring of 2024. I then ordered a pair. Now the pre order is set for summer of 2024. I did talk to them to see what the delay was and I got a quick response and that was that they were having trouble getting the materials in to make the shoes causing delays. I think I was even told they got more orders than they were expecting causing more delays. Who ever I talked to said they will be out though some time this year if now more delays. They still have the older models that are still for sale that can be ordered now. I did look at those but they do not have my size of those in stock So I would not be able to try those. A long story short I plan on adding these to the race when they come in and will give another update when I get those added. here are the pictures of the 2 Quikiks that I pre ordered. I know they do not look that great or stylish like kiziks and zeba but they look comfortable and use a different technology so will be interesting to see what they look like in person so I can not wait until they get here.
